The passing of Oscar, the beloved dog who had been by the side of his owner, actress and filmmaker Zhang Yimou, for over ten years, was marked by an emotional farewell at Shanghai Port on Monday evening.

Zhang and his family arrived at the port in a limousine, accompanied by a small group of mourners. They were greeted by a large crowd of fans, including actors and filmmakers from China and abroad, who had come to pay their respects to the late actor.
